The radio station programming schedules on KTOO.org come from NPR’s Composer tool. These schedules show up on the schedule pages, the menu dropdowns, and below the audio streaming players.
To edit the schedules:
Log into Composer
To change the station, click on the call letters in the upper left and click the station you want to edit
Click on the program title you want to edit
Make any changes to title, description, or schedule that you need to.
Check your schedule changes carefully – it’s very easy to accidentally overlap another program.
Optional: to have a schedule change take effect in the future, click “Add New Airtime” in the lower right. Line up the “Start Date” and “End Date” fields so that the new “Airtime” block will start after the existing “Airtime” block ends.”
When you’re done, click “Save” in the upper right.
You can also click “Return to Calendar Without Saving” if you think you made a mistake.
Important: open a help ticket with NPR Digital Services to inform their carriage group about the change – they don’t always pick up the schedule from Composer and this can result in incorrect information on NPR.org.
