Creating a Forum@360 Promo

When you produce a Forum@360 show, one of the things you will need to do is produce (or arrange for someone to produce for you) a promo for TV.  We like to run the promo a week before it airs, and the TV control manager likes to have the TV automation logs loaded a week ahead of time, that means that you need to have the promo ready to air two weeks before the program’s air date (don’t be inconsiderate to the people downstream by waiting until the last minute to produce your promo). If you need to know information about when the show airs, and the shows episode number, usually it is in the TV Production calendar. If you don’t find it there, you can ask the Programming Manager.

There is a template already created, which means you can copy the following ingredients to your drive and put the pieces together.

  • Video: P:\Forum@360\KF3600300_PRH.mp4
  • Music: P:\@360 Promos\Music\EVO_189e_54_Follow_The_Map_Elias_Fraumeni_764216.wav
  • Overlay: P:\Branding\360North\360 North HD 2015\Renders\360NPromoOverlay_Fri8p.mov

Once you have all the components, you can voice the 11 second piece that you would like to place in the middle of the template.

You should produce one with an overlay (Friday at 8 for example) and one without it, so that it can be used again at any time in the schedule.

Your files should be named KF3600###_PRH for the clean version (### being the episode number of your show) and KF3600###_DDT_PRH (DDT being Day M = Monday, T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday, TH=Thursday, F=Friday, SA=Saturday, SU=Sunday) and T being the hour it airs 8 for 8pm.
