By default, ads show up on category archive pages, but you can hide them.
Navigate to the category page and click “Edit Category” in the top bar
Near the bottom of the category editing screen, find the “Show ads” switch
By default it is set to “show” (ads will be visible), but you can click it to switch to “hide” (ads will not be visible on this category).
