Start the Rhozet Carbon Coderapplication.
Copy the media and .SCC file to a folder accessible on the Carbon Coder Machine.
I generally use E:\UserWatches\MXFOmneon\Prep
Add the Source video file.
Select the Target (or output for the file)
Add | KTOO (category) | MXF based on Omneon SD NTSC 8 mbps SD 16×9 source | OK
With the target selected, then add the the filter to insert the .scc file by using the following steps:
Advanced | Video Filters (second top tab) | Add | Caption Inject From .SCC File | OK
With the Caption Inject Filter selected, set the following fields:
SCC File: (select the .SCC file you copied to the folder with the media) and then close the Advanced Filter window.
Once that is done, you need to change the Destination path to be \\ROZHET-SVR\UserWatches\MXFOmneon\Out (which is E: on this machine and should have adequate space). It defaults to the C drive which never has enough space to accommodate the transcoded file which then tends to gum up the rest of the jobs as well.
Once this is done, you can add this job to the queue. Once that is done, you should be able to copy it from the MFXOmneon\Out folder to the Harmonic clip.dir folder and it should work.
